KRALMAN FIRST TO GET BONUS

Flft-Two Applications Made and 25 More are Due

Rufus Kralman was the first Garfield county war veteran to receive his $60 bonus, according to Rev. F. N. Morton, chairman of the local home service department of the Red Cross.

The discharge was returned in good order, Mr. Morton says.

Fifty-two applications for the bonuses were sent from this county, and there are about 25 more to go. In addition to this bonus those ex-soldiers who on leaving the army camps receive only 3 1/2 cents a mile for traveling expenses, may receive an additional 1 1/2 cents a mile, by making the proper application.

Every soldier is entitled to 5 cents per mile traveling expenses, and some of them have already received the full amount.

Applications for this additional mileage fee are not to be made, however, until further instructions are received from the war department.
