175 PERSONS PUT $67,600 IN BONDS
Chairman Cardwell Urges Completion of Drive During Honor Week
SHOW NAMES OF SUBSCRIBERS
Those Having Pledges to Fulfill Are Asked to Respond Without Delay
This is Honor Week, and every card mailed out showing the individual quotas should be in the hands of the banks by Saturday, as the committee desires to have our quota for Garfield county raised this week.
If you received a quota card, you should buy your bonds this week, if you did not receive a card you should buy a bond this week. Every man in Garfield county should have a Victory bond either large or small. If this week's paper does not contain your name as a Victory bond buyer, be sure that your name appears in, the next issue. It shows that we are all glad that the war is over. It shows that we are all glad that the boys are coming home. It shows that we are all back of our government.
FRANK CARDWELL,
Chairman of Liberty Loan Committee
Subscriptions to the Victory bonds are coming gradually and strongly to the satisfaction of Chairman Frauk Cardwell and the banks.
At the close of business Wednesday evening the Pomeroy State bank reported sales to 95 subscribers aggregating $39,500. The Knettle State bank reported 80 subscribers to a total of $28,200; the grand total being $67,700.
Honor week closes Saturday and it is hoped that Garfield county will complete its quota of $187,000 before Saturday night.
