19 DISTRICTS HELD NO SCHOOL ELECTIONS

Appointments Should Be Made and All Vacancies Filled, Says Superintendent

Nineteen school districts of Garfield county failed to hold elections in March, according to a report made by the county school superintendent, Belva Ball.

Because of this failure, all these districts are short one or more officers , with several districts lacking two officers and three districts—Chard, Philomathean and Kirby—having been left without one director.

Appointments of some of these school officers have been made, and the rest should have their appoint­ments made immediately in order to get the records straight, the super­intendent advises.

Following is a list of the school of­ficers for the county as, shown by the present record, the officer first named in each group being district clerk:
