J. D. TYRRELL IS LAID AT REST

Masons Conduct Services for Former Pomeroy Man

The funeral of the late J. D. Tyrrell, well-known resident of Clarkston, who died in Kansas was conducted yesterday at Merchant's chapel in Clarkston by the Masonic bodies, E. E. Halsey, worshipful master, being in charge. Many friends were present to pay him respect and floral offerings were many and beautiful. The interment was made in the Lewiston cemetery, his body going to rest beside that of his wife.

A male quartet composed of C. B. Thompson, C. S. Richardson, Dr. Paul Johnson and C. J. Craig, sang several songs, Mrs. Belle Schmadeka beimg at the piano. The Masons provided pall bearers.—Lewiston Tribune.

Mr. Tyrrell lived many years in Garfield county prior to his removal to Clarkston 20 years ago He was the original settler on lands farmed by R. B. Melton northwest of Pomeroy, and later a resident of Pomeroy for several years. (from the October 18, 1924, issue of the East Washingtonian)
